David Masters is Corporate Affairs Director for Microsoft Australia. In this role, David leads Microsoft Australia’s public policy and government engagement in areas including accessibility, privacy, cybersecurity and cloud services. He is also Microsoft Australia’s Disability and Accessibility lead.
Prior to joining Microsoft, David led Public Sector Business Strategy for HP Enterprise Services in Australia; and was the ICT Practice Director for public affairs consultancy Parker & Partners. David has also been a senior public servant and an adviser on a range of ICT policy issues; advising three Australian Government Ministers in the Communications, Information Technology and the Arts portfolio on ICT industry development, broadband, whole of government use of ICT and Internet regulation.
