Georgina is an Executive Director at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), responsible for managing the Infocentre. The Infocentre is the ACCC’s Contact Centre and is responsible for triaging the reports it receives relevant to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, to identify the issues that are causing the most harm to Australian consumers and small business. She was the 2018 recipient of SOCAP’s Stellar Achievement Award. She has worked at the ACCC since 2010, with her focus on continuous improvement keeping her motivated.
Georgina considers contact centre management her “trade”, borne from her experience in health insurance and at the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA). Prior to working at the ACCC, Georgina ran her own Contact Centre consulting company working with clients in both the public and private sectors.
Georgina is an active mentor and loves the reward of seeing people develop into new and exciting roles.
